I’m excited to announce that tomorrow I will be teaching my first yoga class at Virginia Mason Medical Center through the Mindfulness Program.
Speaking from my own experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, it is far too easy to forgo taking care of yourself for the sake of others. I look forward to introducing yoga as a form of self-care to my colleagues. Through yoga, there is a pause to process, regenerate, and return with more to give. Not surprisingly, routine self-care allows for a greater capacity to care for others.
